Babe, are you familiar with the term “limiting beliefs”?
Limiting beliefs are beliefs we hold on to that limit what we can achieve in life. They are stories we tell ourselves that keep us in our comfort zone.
Beliefs like “That person is out of my league” or “I’m not smart enough to head up that project” or “I can’t (fill in the blank) because I’m too (fill in the blank).
But are these beliefs really facts? Or do we just believe them to be true, and then act on these beliefs as if they are actual facts?
Many times these limiting beliefs were formed due to a single event that happened long ago, which caused us to draw a negative conclusion about ourselves.
What we believe to be true for our lives can either limit us, OR can open us up to all the beautiful possibilities that life has to offer.
