After I wrote you yesterday, I was thinking about another thing I’m grateful for about you love.
I am grateful for your intuition, that subtle, yet incredibly powerful super-computer that’s programmed into your subconscious.
It’s there to give you guidance, to look out for you, and to protect you. What a awe-inspiring gift you have!
Also known as gut instincts, it may communicate with you in the form of a strong feeling or a hunch. Or you might hear it as a soft, subtle voice whispering in your ear.
Many times, your intuition defies logic.
That’s because your subconscious intuition is wiser than any conscious logic. It KNOWS what’s best for you.
But in order for it to serve you, it also has to be trusted, even if it doesn’t make any sense at the time.
I get that it’s not easy to learn how trust your intuition love, especially if we haven’t been raised or taught how to do so.
It might even be a scary thing to do, especially when it defies logic.
So if you could use a little help in that area, here’s one way you can learn how to trust it.
Make a mental note (or write in your journal) each time you get some sort of instinct, feeling, or an inner knowing about something, whether or not you decide to act on it.
Then, down the road, see if you can look back and recognize if your intuition was correct.
Maybe you had the inner knowing that you should grab an umbrella before leaving the house when it was perfectly sunny outside.
Or, maybe you had a strong feeling that something bad was about to happen, or that you should call someone.
Did you act on that insight your intuition gave you?
If not, do you wish you had?
If you pay attention to what your intuition is telling you, as well as each time that instinct you had WAS right, pretty soon you will have enough information to realize you can feel safe following it’s guidance.
