When you think of the concept of “I Love Me More”, how do you picture it in your head?
I would like to invite you to imagine that you are looking at your reflection in the mirror.
You (the person standing in front of the mirror) are in a relationship with yourself (the reflection in the mirror). And it’s the most important relationship you’ve got.
Yet most of us aren’t even aware of this. We weren’t taught this growing up. We didn’t learn about this in school.
But, let’s stop and think about this for a second. Haven’t you had those moments, where you’ve tried to tell yourself something to encourage yourself?
Perhaps you gave yourself a pep talk. Told yourself: “Just one more hour. You’re almost at the finish line. You got this.”
Or haven’t you ever been hard on yourself for making a mistake, saying “I’m such an idiot”.
Whether we are nice, or a bully to ourselves, our relationship with ourselves has the-biggest-impact out of any-other-relationship of our adult lives.
It’s the longest and most permanent relationship we’ll ever have.
We need to be consciously aware of this relationship, ensuring that we are treating ourselves with kindness, and taking care of our needs.
Remember, it’s up to us to prioritize our own well-being.
With so much love. ♥️
