Hi Beauty! I hope you’ve been treating yourself well. Speaking of treating ourselves well, part of loving ourselves more is taking good care of the vessel that houses our soul, our bodies.

Did you know that regular exercise has enormous benefits in so many other areas besides just helping to manage weight? Regular exercise does wonders for our brain and heart health, strengthens our muscles and bones, improves mental health, mood, and decreases anxiety, among other things.

Even in these cold winter months when the weather makes it difficult to get outside, it’s important to move our bodies as an act of self-care and self-love.

But regardless of how much we do or do not exercise, we can still put on weight during this time of year. And it’s important to love our bodies regardless of what weight we are at.

Heck, sometimes there are things that are beyond our control such as the hormonal changes, medical conditions….or getting cozy in a new relationship (well, this one is controllable, but can still be difficult for some of us to prevent).

Killing ourselves to try and fit into some sort of outdated, idealized standard we’ve had stuck in our heads forever, is not self-love.  Total self-acceptance, including our body weight, is showing ourselves love.

But regardless of what weight we are at, taking good care of our bodies via regular exercise is and always will be one of the vital components of being at our best. And when we are at our best, not only do we get to benefit, but everyone else around us gets to benefit as well.

But whatever you do, please remember to always love yourself, love your body, love all of you.

Over here routing for you my friend. ❤️

XOXO

Jenna
