Hey Beautiful!

I was wondering, have you ever thought about how often we let our inner critic dominates our thoughts?

After accomplishing a task, it’s so easy to dwell on what we believe we did wrong, rather than celebrating all the things we’ve done right. Does this sound familiar?

Fostering self-love and prioritizing our mental health is essential. After all, life is all about the journey, not the destination. So shouldn’t we be striving to make it as joyful as possible?

I’ve personally found a way to turn my inner critic on it’s head by shifting focus. Each time I achieve something – no matter how minor it might seem – I acknowledge it, and bask in the good feeling of the achievement.

And why not? It feels amazing to give ourselves credit, a mental or even a literal pat on the back, for the accomplishments that fill us with pride.

This simple act of self-acknowledgment and self-encouragement brings out our inner cheerleader. She’s a manifestation of self-love that becomes a source of strength, fueling us with personal validation and care.

Imagine making it a habit to cheer on ourselves for the daily victories, like clearing an inbox, finishing our day’s task list, or nailing a presentation.

This isn’t just about feeling good in the moment – it’s about building resilience and self-assurance that reinforces our ‘power container’.

And here’s the best part: the more you practice this, the quieter that inner critic becomes!

It’s like reprogramming your brain, shifting from self-critique to self-support. There’s a whole body of science backing this up – isn’t that fascinating?

So why not give it a shot? Consciously start embracing and celebrating your achievements, and you might just find yourself feeling more fabulous than you ever imagined.

Wishing you an absolutely wonderful rest of your week my friend!

XOXO

Jenna
